Just wanted to say thanks to the Church's greatest Elders and Minister. I know other congregations have wonderful leaders, but none equal to ours. Allen, Ronnie and Joseph recently came to the hospital where my wife was undergoing surgery. They sat with me and kept me company right up until the surgery was over and they made certain that Karen was allright. The surgery took twice as long as it should have but never a complaint was made. I know they all have plenty to do but they always make time for the flock. I hope this comment can somehow be made public because it is important that everyone be told how much we love and need our leaders at the Belle Church.

I visited Belle Church of Christ during the May Gospel Meeting. In addition to the GREAT singing (by the Next Generation and the Harmony Four), I also received a letter from your elders shortly after attending. I learned of your website from the letterhead stationary. Great site, keep up the good work of spreading the Good News. I attend the Church of Christ at Peytona. Come visit us sometime.

Really enjoyed viewing the site; I am one of your Churches mailmen, I worship the Lord at the Dunbar Church of Christ but work everyday in Belle. Allen Smith has become a friend and brother in Christ to me. I especially enjoyed learning some history of the Church in Belle. Hopefully my family and I can attend the Gospel Meeting in May. God bless you & your church. You all keep the faith, OK? Because some will depart from the faith (1 Tim. 4:1). One can fall from grace (Gal. 5:4-7). One can sell their birthright (Hebrews 12:15-17). Even a bishop, elder, or preacher can lose their salvation (1 Tim. 3:6,7 & 1 Cor. 9:24-27). Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall - 1 Cor. 10:12. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins - Hebrews 10:26. The wise hear the warnings in the bible, but some will not endure sound doctrine (2 Tim. 4:3,4). I hope for your best. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

My dad used to preach in Belle, and I was baptised there too. I just came back this month from cross country and drove by. It's a hoot to realize how much things shrink as you get older! Anyone know how the Sherwood cousins are doing? (Susan and Jane).
