The group actually began as a trio in 1996 when they were asked to put something together for a local
youth rally. Following that performance, the trio was invited to sing for other occasions and decided to
add the fourth part.
The members of The Next Generation live in a musical atmosphere. They’ve spent their entire lives singing praises to God at the Belle church. Growing up as children of the Harmony Four, they traveled
to gospel concerts throughout their childhood. You could say gospel singing is in their “blood.”
The group made their first cassette tape/CD at Harvest Gospel Studio in Huntington, WV in January of 2000. It is entitled, “The Next Generation: Heaven.” The quartet hopes that the people will
listen to the words of this recording to bring them closer to God.
